Gabriel Garzo, M.D.

He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Reproductive Medicine at the University of California at San Diego. Prior to joining the Center for Advanced Reproductive Care in Redondo Beach in 1991, he was Infertility Specialist and Director of the In Vitro Fertilization Laboratory at Scripps Clinic and Research Foundation in La Jolla. He has been an Adjunct Assistant Member of the Research Institute of Scripps Clinic and was an Instructor of Microsurgery at the Naval Hospital in San Diego.

Dr. Garzo is currently a staff member of Scripps Memorial Hospital, La Jolla. After he received his medical degree from the University of Chile, he served as a resident in General Surgery at the University of Manitoba and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Toronto General Hospital. He also completed two years of research in ovarian physiology at the prestigious Banting and Best Institute in Toronto and a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of California at San Diego. Dr. Garzo is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada.

E. Scott Sills, M.D., Ph.D.

Scott Sills serves as the medical director at the Center for Advanced Genetics, and has been in full-time IVF practice since completing his reproductive endocrinology fellowship at Cornell University in 1998. In addition, he is a published author, researcher, and lecturer. Dr. Sills has been board certified since 2001, and maintains an active interest in the areas of IVF, fertility surgery, male factor infertility, low ovarian reserve, and recurrent miscarriage. He is a 1987 graduate of Vanderbilt University and received his MD degree from University of Tennessee (Memphis). England’s University of Westminster awarded its PhD degree (molecular biology) to Dr. Sills in 2013. Dr. Sills is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists, American College of Surgeons, and the Royal College of Physicians (Ireland). With medical licensure/registration in California, New York, and the United Kingdom, Dr. Sills’ clinical practice at the Center for Advanced Genetics serves patients from around the world.

Aimee Eyvazzadeh, M.D.

After completing her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School, she completed a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility at University of Michigan. She also completed a Masters in Public Health in Health Management and Policy at University of Michigan. Dr. Eyvazzadeh has presented her research at the national meetings of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, Endocrine Society and American College of Ob/Gyn. Her research has been published in several journals including Fertility and Sterility, Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism, Obstetrics and Gynecology and Menopause. Dr. Eyvazzadeh co-authored book chapters on ultrasonography and male infertility with national leaders in the field of reproductive endocrinology. She is also a reviewer of a major scientific journal. Dr. Eyvazzadeh is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Pop Luck Club

The Pop Luck Club‘s mission is to advance the well-being of gay dads and their children.  They do this through mutual support, community collaboration, and public understanding. They are a community of gay dads building families through fostering, adoption, co-parenting, and surrogacy. Through peer support  and community involvement, they provide our children and the greater community with positive images of gay parenting. Founded in 1998, The Pop Luck Club is a 501(c)3 nonprofit and the largest known group of its kind. With chapters in Los Angeles and Orange County, their membership includes 700+ gay fathers and prospective gay dads throughout Southern California. They host monthly meetings where gay dads and gay prospective dads can find support and resources. RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association is a non-profit, charitable organization, who works to improve the lives of women and men living with infertility.  Having built her family through the aid of gestational surrogacy, Jennifer also has personal experience with the emotional impact of infertility, pregnancy loss, and third party reproduction. Jennifer uses this knowledge and experience in her work with surrogacy agencies when completing pre-cycle psychological evaluations.

 Jennifer is a native of Southern California and a graduate of Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education and Psychology where she received her M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy.
